All of our flags are hand made, and shipped by us out of Jamison, PA! The best part about our flags being hand made is each flag is unique in its own way! We search for wood with character that will POP. No two flags are identical! Every single one of our flags comes with hanging hardware preinstalled at no extra charge, and we offer our Large flags with an Uncoated Finish, Gloss Finish, and an Outdoor finish. each horizontal stripe is actually an individual strip of wood that was stained or painted prior to assembly. The “canton” or “union” (typically blue on the actual flag) is made of a single piece of wood and stained or painted prior to assemble to set it apart from the rest of the stripes. The union is stained brown in the “Stained/Burned” version.

As you probably know, each of the 13 stripes represents the 13 British colonies that declared independence from the Kingdom of Great Brittan to become the first states of the United States of America.

The 50 stars, which represent the 50 states, are painted with white paint, then sanded to add to the rustic, weathered, faded look.

The entire piece is then lightly burned with a flame to add to the unique “rustic” or “weathered” look. Since each piece is hand made, it may look slightly different than the flag in the photo. The overall look and quality will be exactly the same
